A conference of Celtic Artists, scholars and enthusiasts is being organized to meet in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland June 4-7 2020

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Thursday, June 4:
Pre-conference guided bus tour of the Early Christian and Medieval Art of St Patrick’s Country, 10am-5pm - £25

Friday June 5:
Day 1 of Conference, St Patrick Centre - £25 (includes tea/coffee/sandwich lunch)
5 lectures by Celtic Art practitioners and a curator
Lunchtime: Official opening of Celtic Art exhibition, St Patrick Centre Gallery
Guided visit to see the High Crosses of Downpatrick, Down Cathedral and Down County Museum
Evening: Dinner at Denvir’s 17th century pub, with music and free prosecco reception – £17.50

Saturday June 6:
Day 2 of Conference, St Patrick Centre - £25 (includes tea/coffee/sandwich lunch)
5 lectures by Celtic Art practitioners and an archaeologist
Late afternoon barbecue in St Patrick Centre Garden (free)

Sunday June 7:
Post-conference guided bus tour of Ulster Museum Early Christian and medieval collection, and afternoon bus tour of Belfast City (buy own lunch at Ulster Museum) - £25
